Are you into box subscriptions? I love them because they are an affordable little box of surprises that arrive in your mailbox every month. You get to try new things without spending a fortune. Raw Spice Bar is one of the coolest and most affordable versions of box subscriptions. It's a great way to experience flavors of the world by adding different spices to what you're cooking. After all...we all eat chicken right? It's what is put on the chicken in most cases that makes it taste different from culture to culture. For just $6 a month you get three ground flavor kits from a specific region, recipes, stories, and sometimes other little surprises.
I was offered the chance to try it for free in exchange for an honest review. My box had Ethiopian spices like pumpkin pie spice, Ethiopian mitmita, and Berbere. You can read all about these spices on the November spice page at Raw Spice Bar. The website itself is a wealth of information, recipes, and ideas. I tried mine on chicken. (That's why I mentioned chicken before.) I still have plenty for many more dishes to come. It'll be fun to get to experience these "new to me" flavors and tickle my taste buds as I go. I honestly think it's a great value and one of the best ideas for a subscription box out there. If you've tried it, have any ideas or recipes to share, or have any questions...be sure to leave a comment. Have a great day!
