In love, mending a broken heart, exercising the “I am woman” mantra, or musing about the meaning of existence… music speaks to me in just about every aspect of life. I have been known to break out with a song for many occasions.  Old school, new school, in school…..I love it all.

Since I also am having a torrid affair with my Best Buy birthed android phone, it’s not surprising that a huge portion of my “get me through this moment” music collection has been downloaded onto my humanoid friend. As much as I am in love with the constant connection and immediate download capabilities of my pint sized digital babe, the speaker sound for tune playback is slightly lacking.

Headphones are great for my own personal jam, but when hanging out with my peeps and company or entertaining, passing my wireless ear buds is not exactly trend setting.  At home I don’t mind hooking up to the theater surround system at all, but on the go…phft, forget it.  

With spring creeping up, outside is where my media-droid and I will be, but the little digital dude cannot compete with the wind in my hair or breeze on my back….and I’m not giving him up anytime soon. So to remedy the sound deficiency of course I turn to the digital prowess of Best Buy.

Best Buy’s March Audio Fest makes my timing even better! Did y’all know that starting March 2^nd through April 4^th that Best Buy is featuring a month of sweet sounding deal, audio specials, events & more in all stores? Well now you do!

Take a looksee at the JBL Flip Portable Stereo Speaker that my mail carrier will be bring to my sound deprived hominoid….I’m pretty excited that this week we are expecting warmer temps and my JBL should be here just in time! 

The JBL streams sound wirelessly from most bluetooth-enabled phone/tablet/laptop, so my music-oid shouldn’t have any problem connecting. But most importantly its portable! Though I’m lovin that it has a speaker-phone, with a built-in microphone and call-answer button so that I can play it loud without missing any calls. I love the design and how it’s engineered, it just looks great! 

 

The horizontal or vertical capability without disrupting the room filling sound takes up very little space, so I don’t have to worry about lugging around a bunch of bulk. Like I said, I’m still waiting for mine to be delivered, but some of the reviews promise good sound and a sleek look, especially for the money.  I’m pretty excited.

Honestly, online or in store, when it comes to my music I ALWAYS head for the home entertainment system, car audio, portable speakers, headphones and overall Best Buy Audio greatness!  If they would rent me a space (with a shower and room service), I might not ever leave ;0)
