Do you like sending Christmas cards? Got extras this year you don’t know what to do with? I would love to be on your Christmas card list.

My own Christmas Cards are all done and sent and now I’m just sitting back and waiting for cards to arrive so I can decorate my mantle with smiling faces of friends and family. They just started to trickle in on Monday and as I set them up, I realized how much I really enjoy getting cards and making them part of the Christmas display.

My husband is deployed and it can start to feel a little lonely around the holidays. Sometimes it’s hard to muster up Christmas cheer when it always feels like a huge chunk of your heart is missing. I just have to keep reminding myself to get through the holidays and we’re in the home stretch!

I didn’t really put much out for Christmas decorations, but with each card that arrives, my decor improves. I love seeing photos of friends and family. The photo cards are my favorite, but funny cards, pretty cards, even generic dollar store cards…they all make me smile when I look at them.

I found some fun display ideas on Pinterest. I really the ribbons on the kitchen cabinets, but I need more cards to make it look good and right now I only have four!

I would love to have lots of cards to put up, but my “friends who do the card thing” list is not that long. I could really use a little boost to propel me through this holiday season. If you happen to have an extra Christmas card, will you send it to me? It doesn’t matter if we’ve never met or even messaged. I would love to display your card. Each one is like a little gift of Christmas cheer.
