Metallic Putty Creates Mesmerizing Fun For Everyone!

Have you heard or seen the new Putty they are coming out with now? Kids these days have some really cool things to play with and learn from. Like metallic putty. Yes, it’s sparkly and pretty, like really frikin pretty, but there is something else so…. intriguing about it. As you know, Bug has a fixation for all things science related. So when I was asked if she could give an honest review, we both said yes!

Whats In The Putty Box?

Shipped from Amazon, our metallic putty came neatly packaged in a tiny little box. After opening, there was a metal tin. I am drawn to the packaging and tin, and I kinda want the tin for other purposes, but, alas, this putty is designed to stay in the tin when not in use. Le sigh.

After opening the tin, your putty comes in a little plastic sealed package. The color is brilliant and sparkly. Just our style Also in the tin is a set of googly eyes and a plastic orange nose (I am assuming this, there are no instructions that accompany our new putty) and one cube magnet. Bug is now dying to open the package and get to work playing with it. But, before she can, I snap a few pics.

Metallic Putty Is So Fun

The metallic putty is so pretty! I adore the color so much

What makes this putty different from the rest is that it has little flakes of metal, (safe to use, it’s in the putty) mixed into the formula. Without the magnet, it is truly a beautiful color. To me, it is similar to the cosmic colors you would see in a space field (or that is what I am assuming) and shimmers brilliantly. When you add the magnet, the small metal particles are evenly attracted to the magnet, creating a goo magnet field. I found a really great explanation on Reddit that explains the technical side of this mesmerizing putty. Check it out if you want a better understanding of how it works.

In her hand is the cube magnet, pulling the metallic putty!

Final thoughts on metallic Putty

I highly recommend this putty for lots of reasons. Its pretty, and it’s so fun to play with. I love that there is a learning lesson to be had while having so much fun. I especially love that it comes with its own container for storage. The magnet is super strong and the color is beautiful. This product will entertain grown-ups and kids alike.

using the provided eyes and nose we made a cute little purple snowman.

This metallic putty comes in blue, gold, purple, green, black and silver and is included in Prime. Make sure you check it out and add it to your educational arsenal today!  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078DTX2HX
