Kaiser (Gurgaon) – Restaurant Review

So a few days back while I was browsing through Facebook a friend invited me for a food tasting & restaurant review session of a new Mughlai theme restaurant in DLF Phase – IV, Gurgaon.


Now DLF Phase-IV is considered to be one of the prime localities of Gurgaon plus there are a lot of both big & small sized restaurants here. Surely one needs to have tons of courage to open a new restaurant at this location. Precisely based in Supermart -1 the restaurant is easy to be located and has a dine-in and a delivery format both.
I will give its location a 3.5/5 rating.


The Ambiance is pretty simple considering that the restaurant has a capacity of 30-40 pax.

The service was prompt and precise. Whatever we ordered was timely brought with good presentation. The team of Kaiser actually gives a patient ear when customer share their positive &  negative feedback.

A few days prior to this visit of ours to Kaiser, in a Gurgaon food group I had heard many people go all gaga over this restaurant. We went for a Sunday lunch and  had vivid starters like Mutton Seekh kebab, Butter Tandoori Chicken, Malai Tangdi Kebab, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Mutton Burra.

Mutton Burra made from the meat of a young goat was exceptional with perfectly cooked chops and spices to add the zing. Mutton Seekh Kebab was also tender and melt in the mouth.

Malai Tandoori Chicken..

Malai tandoori Chicken is a bit messier dish to eat with all the malai on top of chicken so the fingers are bound to have a loose grip of chicken.
Next, we had ‘Kaiser Haleem Biryani’ which can be said to be the specialty of Kaiser. The Haleem Biryani constitutes Haleem that is made of wheat and meat cooked together until the meat is tenderized to the extent that it gets shredded on its own. The Haleem biryani here has resemblance to Meerut style of Biryani preparation with loads of fried onions sitting on the top. I am not really into rice eating but I simply loved this biryani!


Butter Chicken

For the main course, we had ordered Butter Chicken and Sheermaal. Now Sheermaal, I and my husband had tried before also but we  didn’t like those however here I can vouch for Shirmaal. It is simply outstanding! Soft, mildly sweet & salty and the beauty it looks when served to you perfectly golden brown!
Lastly we had ordered Shahi Tukda for dessert which was a little more on the sweeter side. Totally yummy!
I will give its food a 5/5 rating.


If you are a lover of Mughlai cuisine and don’t want to travel all the way from Gurgaon to Old Delhi or Kasabpura areas for great flavor. With fresh meat & chicken marinated for 24 hrs. for the flavors to get in really well, Kaiser can be a really good restaurant to have food in. Highly recommended!
