Every time I go back to Redrocks in Arlington, on the pike, I find another reason to love it. I finally got my Blue with Envy, with was good, and nice drink to take the edge off after a long day. But what really hit the spot today were the tunes. I can see how they might not be for everyone, but they brought me back to the early 2000s.

Max and I shared a Risotto Arancini, and decided on pastas for the evening. I got the Bolognese, which I always forget is just a mound of meat with Pasta. I'm always received by its name. I only remember that I don't like it for a month or so then I will see it on a menu and think - oh that sounds good! The pasta and sauce was cooked and seasoned well, I'm jut not into the dish. My bad. Next time I'm going to finally order a pizza.

While sitting there eating i found myself SoundHound'ing every track on the Playlist they had running. It was so old school, and took me straight back to when I was living at home in Ohio (which I miss dearly). It all started when they began playing Cohered and Cambria and I thought, what is going on - is this a time warp? Then AFI, Brand New, Hawthorne Heights, and more all back to back. Someone was kicking ass today, and I liked it. If I didn't have work the next day, I would have stayed just to listen at the bar. I pulled together a handful of the tunes on a playlist below for your enjoyment.

Speaking of- they are having a Terrapin Tap Takeover next Thursday, July 23rd. That would be a great time to stop in and RedROCK-OUT!
