Lush Mask of Magnaminty | Review, Photos

Following on from the Lush love that I recently shared with you all, I thought I’d share with you my very favorite at the moment. Let me introduce you to LUSH Mask of Magnaminty. From the moment I laid my eyes on this cute little bottle of chunky freshness I have never looked back. Read on to know why I love it so.

LUSH Mask of Magnaminty

Product Claims

Makes dirt a distant memory

Mask of Magnaminty isn’t technically a daily ‘facial wash’; it’s actually a deep cleansing face and back mask. China clay and fresh peppermint reach deep down to pull the debris from your pores, giving you that delightful tingly-clean sensation. We add loads of aduki beans to exfoliate flaky or dry skin, vanilla absolute to calm redness and honey to soothe. Our inventors created Mask of Magnaminty to be the ‘ultimate face mask’, intense but not harsh or abrasive on the skin. We recommend using Mask of Magnaminty weekly to keep the skin in good condition.

Plaster this deep green mask all over your clean face, neck and back. Leave it on for up to 15 minutes then wash it off with warm water, massaging as you go (avoiding the eye area). For best results, follow with a LUSH Moisturizer that best suits your skin type. Mask of Magnaminty will remain fresh for up to four months. Always check the expiration date on your product.

Bentone Gel, Kaolin, Honey, Talc, Ground Aduki Beans (Phaseolus Angularis), Glycerine, Evening Primrose Seeds (Oenothera biennis), Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita), African Marigold Oil (Tagetes erecta), Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla Planifolia), *Limonene, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Chlorophyllin. *Occurs naturally in essential oils

My Experience

If you’ve been reading my posts for sometime now, you’d know I have acne-prone Skin. I am always on the look out of skin-care products that will actually help in improving the texture of my skin. Not to mention, products that’d be gentle on my skin. After My First Lush Haul, I picked this up on my second visit to the store. This one comes in the regular black tub LUSH packaging. It has a minty smell as the name suggests. This is a multipurpose mask with a scrub-like texture. It has bits of aduki beans that help in exfoliating dry or flaky skin.

It has a shelf life of 4 months. Normally, I apply it on my face, as advised, for 15 minutes and then wash off with warm water by slightly exfoliating in circular motions. It leaves my skin very fresh, smooth, and soft. It has also helped me in reducing acne, which is why I love it even more. I use it about 2-3 times a week. When I am in a hurry I also use it just as a scrub rather than a mask.

I am on my second bottle right now and I will definitely repurchase it. For me, it is definitely a worth purchase.

What I don’t like about Mask of Magnaminty
