Waffles are the easiest and tastiest weekend brunch and I am amazed at its versatility. Waffles can be made savory or sweet or in a sandwich form but waffles always tastes amazing and I am almost always drooling when it comes to waffles especially when it’s sweet with nice combinations.
Keeping my healthy diet in mind and tracking my family’s health all the time…..I’m not obsessed but nothing is more important than good health! I came up with Chocolate Hummus Waffles. That means these waffle are flourless, protein rich and chocolatey……..
I used boiled chickpeas/garbanzo beans, I used tahini (store bought), and lots of chocolate chips to make it soooooo chocolateyyyyy….. Love chocolate and its dishes. Well I am specifically fond of dark chocolate and that’s what I always use in my recipes. Within 20 minutes I whipped up these waffles batter and served this delicious brunch on the breakfast table in front my family and to my surprise within minutes Chocolate Hummus Waffles were all gone.
Whhhhhaaaatttt????? I didn’t even get a chance to taste.
I whipped another batch which was almost vanishing immediately yet I managed to save one for myself which I devoured endlessly with relish. Sunday brunch has to be special and different and it becomes even more fun when your kids get involved in the kitchen with you. My Sunday morning was so memorable that I am looking forward to another Sunday with my family creating more recipes which I am always excited to share with you all.
