Heart Ombre Cake | Healthy eating - Interestingly it is a Diet Cake for those who always prefer healthy eating and avoid artificial sweeteners. I always prefer healthy eating and clean eating always result best for your body and mind. You may make this diet vanilla, chocolate and coffee ombre cake for your loved ones who cant take white sugar, just may be because of doctor prescription or weight loss cause . Though in this case, it can't replace honey or dates but still far better than white sugar if taken in small quantity. This beautiful and attractive Ombre Cake decorated with pretty roses is best for Birthdays, weddings, Valentine, Christmas, Eid, festival or some occasion at your place. This is done with a complete tutorial with step by step pictures and a video too. By following all the steps by reading it carefully you can make a professional Ombre Cake for your family and friends. HEART OMBRE CAKE (DIET CAKES)


Preparation Time : 1 to 2 hour
Baking Time :  20 to 25 minutes
Serves: 7 to 8

Ingredients:


For Vanilla Sponge Cake
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of sweetener (Truvia, Sucral or Canderal)
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Baking Powder 
  • 3 tablespoons of warm milk  

For Chocolate Sponge Cake
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of sweetener (Truvia, Sucral or Canderal)
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Baking Powder 
  • 5 tablespoons of warm milk   
  • 4 tablespoon of Cocoa Powder

For Pink Coffee Sponge Cake 
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of sweetener (Truvia, Sucral or Canderal)
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Baking Powder 
  • 3 tablespoons of warm milk   
  • 1 teaspoon of Coffee powder
  • few drops of Pink Food Color

For Chocolate Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups of Double Cream
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon of sweetener (Truvia, Sucral or Canderal)
  • few drops of Pink food color

For Pink Whipped Cream 
  • 2 cups of Double Cream
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon of sweetener (Truvia, Sucral or Canderal)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped dark chocolate






    Procedure to be followed:


    STEP 1 :  For making Vanilla Sponge : Pre- heat your oven upto 180 degrees (350 degrees Fahrenheit). In a bowl, beat eggs till soft and fluffy. Add in Vanilla essence then sweetener. Beat all ingredients well then stop beating. Sieve flour and baking powder together and fold in the egg batter, add in milk. Pour batter into heart pan (6 x 3) and bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes. Allow it to cool at room temperature. 

    STEP 2 : For making Chocolate Sponge : Pre- heat your oven upto 180 degrees (350 degrees Fahrenheit). In a bowl, beat eggs till soft and fluffy. Add in Vanilla essence then sweetener. Beat all ingredients well then stop beating. Sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and fold in the egg batter, add in milk. Pour batter into heart pan (6 x 3) and bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes. Allow it to cool at room temperature.


    STEP 3 :  For making Pink Cofee Sponge : Pre- heat your oven upto 180 degrees (350 degrees Fahrenheit). In a bowl, beat eggs till soft and fluffy. Add in Vanilla essence then sweetener. Beat all ingredients well then stop beating. Sieve flour, coffee and baking powder together and fold in the egg batter, add in milk with few drops of pink coloring. Pour batter into heart pan (6 x 3) and bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes. Allow it to cool at room temperature.



    STEP 4 : For Pink Whipped Cream: Chill 2 cups of double cream in refrigerator, overnight. In a bowl, add in double cream, beat for few seconds add in essence, few drops of pink food color and sweetener. Beat the whole ingredients till soft peaks are formed. Transfer it into a piping bad with a nozzle of Wilton 1M.

    STEP 5 : For Chocolate Whipped Cream: Chill 2 cups of double cream in refrigerator, overnight. In a bowl add in chopped dark chocolate and microwave for 10 to 20 seconds till it melts, allow it cool. In an another bowl, add in double cream, beat for few seconds add in essence, melted dark chocolate and sweetener. Beat the whole ingredients till soft peaks are formed. Transfer it into a second piping bad also with a nozzle of Wilton 1M.
     
    STEP 6 : Assembling:  First keep the chocolate cake, then whipped cream(any pink, chocolate or white), then pink coffee cake, same procedure with this one too. Finally comes the last layer if Vanilla Cake. Cover your whole cake with whipped cream. You may make your cake more soft by adding few teaspoons of milk or fresh orange juice on sponge while making layers.
