We all are perpetually looking out for options to tuck into some yummy food post a late night movie or a night of partying in the city. Sadly, there are not many choices except the star hotel properties or some stray joints here and there. However, we bring some great news!
We found this amazing new takeaway joint, Kapao on TTK Road in Alwarpet. Run by a young chef couple, Rohan and Ankita, the takeaway has the perfect menu for all your night binges. Located near the Raj Park hotel, Kapao is open for home delivery and takeaway from 4 pm to 2 am.
The menu has a range of momos, fries, Chicken nuggets, burgers, pizzas, rice bowls, cookies and desserts. Some of the items on the menu include Kurkure Chicken Momo, Cheesy Chow Vegetarian Momo, Thai Chilly Fries, Fondue Fries, Cheesy Vada Burger Bite, Vampire Killer Homemade Chicken Nuggets, Stoner’s Revenge Burger and Mexican Burrito Bowl. They also have a range of 10 inch vegetarian pizzas with an option of adding Roast Chicken, Lamb Pepperoni, Cajun Fried Chicken and Shrimp topping on them. Do try out their Greek God and White Lady pizzas! We found the menu to be quite innovative with choicest of ingredients and heady combinations.
They also have some very pocket friendly combo options. You can have a combo of Cheesy Vada Burger Bite, Masala Fries and Lemon Iced Tea for INR 200 or four pieces of Chicken Momo, Lebanese Chicken Burger Bite and Nutella Bomb Brownie for INR 250.
You can’t leave Kapao without trying out their delectable desserts. They are unique, original and absolutely sinful. They have options like Nutella Bomb Cookie, Cream Cheese Brownie and 24-layered Cake (It literally has 24 layers!). You can finish off the meal with their Paan Mojito.
Kapao already has a full-fledged café on Ethiraj Salai in Egmore and now the duo has come up with a takeaway joint in Alwarpet. They also have tied up with Swiggy and UberEats for home delivery.
