Media Tasting at Cafe De Paris
Korea is full of luscious dessert. You can also have these desserts in Singapore. Cafe De Paris is opening its first Singapore store on 22 Oct at 313 Somerset. Cafe De Paris which has few franchises overseas including Canada, Hong Kong and China and made popular after opening in Korea. Expect a variety of dainty cakes, fresh fruits bon bon series, healthy cold pressed juices, premium tea, cold brew coffee and more! Feast your eyes (and your stomach) on these beautiful desserts.
It’s always lovely to see a good spread of cake to satisfy your taste bud; be it sweet, sour or bitter. There are 8 types of cakes to expect at Cafe de Paris; New York Cheesecake, Matcha, ChocoChoco, Yuzu Mango, Strawberry Shortcake, Earl Grey Lavender, Rose, Chocolate Raspberry Dome. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend Rose, Strawberry Shortcake or Chocolate Raspberry Dome. If you like something bitter-sweet, try Matcha. They use premium matcha powder from Japan. If you like something sweet-sour, try Yuzu Mango. And if you’re a tea lover, you can’t miss Earl Grey Lavender. These cakes are perfect with premium Earl Grey Tea served in a beautiful teapot. Alternatively, you can go for the cold brew coffee; filling aroma, full-bodied flavour and less the bitterness touch on the tongue. The tea or coffee is a good premium selection to pair with the cakes.
The cakes are price at S$8.50 or S$8.80.
We’re really fortunate to meet the Bon Bon master (see picture above) at the pre-event.
Look at these colourful Bon Bon Series and brighten any gloomy days!
What’s in the Bon Bon Series? Chocolate Brownies, Mango, Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry or Grapes Bon Bon.
The cafe uses only seasonal produce fruits specially imported from Korea. They are only available for a certain period of time each year. Each tower is hand-crafted and stacked with truckloads of fruits or chocolate brownies, delicious non-dairy whipped cream, and the slushie. The whipped cream has a good sweet contrast however the richness of whipped cream might make you feel jelak over time. I would recommend bringing at least a friend to share this bon bon. Good desserts are meant for sharing, isn’t it!
Mark the date, 22 Oct! And I’ll definitely be back to try the Matcha and Yuzu Mango cake with Premium Earl Grey tea or cold brew coffee.
