Q&A with Nicole from Tea for Me Please

Stephanie at Life's a Cup of Tea was kind enough to feature me on her blog this week. Answering her questions was a bit of trip down memory lane as I looked back at my own tea beginnings. Make sure you check it out!

Huang Guan Yin Roast Comparison from Old Ways Tea

Char at Oolong Owl did an interesting side-by-side tasting of two versions of Huang Guan Yin. This is one of my favorite types of yancha. I found it really interesting to see the differences between charcoal roasted and electric roasted tea laid out so clearly.

At the Tea Table with Alexis Siemons from teaspoons & petals

Lu Ann from The Cup of Life added to her series At the Tea Table by interviewing tea friend Alexis Siemons. It was great getting to know about one of my favorite fellow tea writers. Alexis has an impeccable palate for food pairings so you should definitely give her blog a read if you haven't already.

Should Sheng Cha Be Considered Heicha?

One of my favorite things about Geoff at Steep Stories is that he never stops digging and exploring. Surface level knowledge of a particular tea just isn't enough for him. This week he investigated something that the tea world has been debating for a long time, is sheng puerh still considered heicha?

When Tea Gets Ugly, and other 2018 Puerh Predictions

Cwyn at Cwyn's Death by Tea is another blogger who is never one to shy away from controversy. The puerh world has always had its drama but that seems to be amplified as more people are picking up tea as a hobby. Her predictions are all spot on, particularly that 2018 will be the year of the testy customer.
