Care and Maintenance Instructions for Your Water Cooler

Purchasing a water Cooler is one of the best decisions you can make if you want to ensure that you always have access to water that is in pristine condition, perfectly cold, and has a wonderful flavour. In years gone by, water coolers were bulky, ugly old things that could only be found in offices. In contrast, today’s water coolers are sleek, fashionable, robust, adaptable, and packed full of cutting-edge technology.

Some of the most advanced water coolers not only provide delicious cold, ambient, or hot water but also take care of everything else, with the exception of getting you out of bed in the morning and making you a cup of coffee. Other water coolers require slightly more Maintenance.

Even though all modern bottled water coolers and mains water coolers are dependable and, for the most part, require relatively little maintenance, a little bit of Care is required every now and then to ensure that they continue to supply you with pure drinking water for many years to come:

Cleaning: Use an antibacterial wipe to clean the exterior of your water cooler on a regular basis so that it continues to have a gleaming and fresh appearance;
Connections: When completing other maintenance jobs, it is always a good idea to merely give the pipes and connections a quick once-over to check that there are no leaks;
Drip Tray: If your water cooler does not include a self-cleaning drip tray, make sure that you remove the tray, empty it, and clean it on a regular basis to avoid the accumulation of filth and the leaking of water;
Filters: If your water cooler has a filter, it should be changed around every six months; doing so is typically relatively simple and takes no more than about five minutes to do. and
Sanitizing: If your water cooler does not have a self-sanitizing function, you should run a sanitising solution through it once every six months in order to eradicate any bacteria that could potentially cause health problems.

If you do not have the time to conduct the maintenance duties listed above, your water company will typically do so for you at regular intervals if you contract their services.
