A Struggle that Needs to Be Addressed

A lack of running water in each household has caused a major headache during the pandemic for the government, who even though they previously knew about the lack of water supply to certain regions, haven’t managed to do something about the problem at hand until now. They have successfully, thus far, managed to drill boreholes, as well as repair taps for the slum areas and villages that needed it the most. Still, there are people in need of water and soap in many areas in the country, which is yet to still be addressed by the government and municipalities.
