Ingredient Notes

To make these easy Sauteed Brussels Sprouts, you will need the following ingredients (full measurements in recipe card below):

  • Brussels sprouts - we recommend fresh Brussels sprouts for this recipe, however you can use fresh or frozen sliced brussels sprouts. If using frozen, you may have to increase the cooking time to account for excess moisture released from the sprouts as they thaw.
  • olive oil - for sautéing the sprouts. You can substitute this with avocado oil, coconut oil, or butter.
  • garlic - fresh garlic has the best flavor that really shines in this dish. If you don’t have fresh garlic, you can use garlic paste or pre-minced garlic if necessary.
  • lemon juice - if you don’t have any lemkn juice on hand, you can substitute it for a similar acidic kick like balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar, or apple cider vinegar.
  • salt and pepper

You will also need measuring spoons and a 10-inch skillet.
