National BBQ Week

BBQ Season is here. The glorious Bank Holiday Weekend heralded the advent of National BBQ Week. DIY stores enjoyed bumper sales as old BBQs had seen better days and were in need of a shiny new replacement. Smells of fired up BBQs and delicious food wafted from gardens across the country as the BBQ season officially began. Thankfully the weather played ball and that’s hopefully a sign of the summer to come.

So, what did you do? Did you supersize? Many of our customers did judging by the orders delivered in the lead up to the weekend.

Have you seen our Supersize range?

Our bestseller in the supersize range so far is the Cumberland sausage ring but the Baby Back Ribs and the Belly Strip joints are close behind.

As the BBQ season goes on it is great fun to add a little variety to your BBQ and the supersize range offers just that, with more products being added throughout the summer. We cannot control the weather, but what we can do is inspire you with great Meat, great recipes and great value.

Old Favourites

This season we have the 72 piece Holiday BBQ meat pack at the same price as last year. Great value at £50.

The Pick and Mix section has BBQ meats in; from burgers to flavoured chicken pieces to Chinese ribs and BBQ pork steaks.

We also have refined our recipes page to be able to neatly filter all the BBQ recipes with some great ideas to WOW your BBQ.

How To Choose Meat For a BBQ

You can browse our BBQ meat section using the filters for Bbq Meat Packs, Burgers, Kebabs, Marinated Chicken and Marinated Pork. You can also access Steak via the Beef category and Sausages via the Homemade Sausages category.

The BBQ meat packs are a handy way to know how much meat you’d need to feed a certain amount of people, so you can use this as a guide if you want to buy products separately.

We hope you enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and enjoy the rest of National BBQ week.
