Before and After Weight Loss
Healthy meals to lose Weight Fast and Safely - Find out healthy and weight loss recipes at my place, Recipes Passion, including weight loss tips, weight loss recipes, healthy dinner ideas, carb free recipes and weight loss green tea. Most of us always wish to stick on healthy meals and low carb diet recipes, but sometimes ignored due to our everyday routine. Let us define first, 
What is Weight loss? It's the term referred to reduce your weight by decreasing the amount of calories you take in or by burning more calories with physical fitness and exercises.
Well i never believe in a strict diet plan, trust me it always helps and much better than a typical diet plan. You have to eat moderate, be specific and selective in food. Try to choose that meals which are packed with healthy nutrients with low or no carbohydrates.


It was last April when i first realized that I was getting fat. I had not checked my weight for last few months, biggest mistake that i recommend everyone not to do in your daily routine. My husband and his team were busy at Textile Exhibition, our day started with too much work load. I prepared "Chicken barbecue Tikka Pasta" in our lunch for all team members, recipe was already shared on blog. Though it's not Low Carb Diet recipe but you can check out the recipe. Well, it was such a boring environment i came out from Exhibition hall. Some girls were passing by, i stopped them and requested to take my picture. So, when they clicked I was like O my God after looking at the clicks, so horrible with chubby cheeks and flabby tummy. I was never ever a fat lady since i was a kid, but because of being a food lover i couldn't resist eating cakes, brownies, cookies, creamy pastas and cheesy pizzas. It was such a disappointing and embarrassing moment when i posted my edited pictures on Facebook and chose in which i was looking smart. yea a funniest thing i have ever done. 






Meanwhile i took an interview with fitness trainer Zarah Chaudary, her sayings fascinated me a lot, "Now or Never". So her article kept me motivated and well determined. Later on i started physical fitness exercises and diet by increasing more fiber and less carb in my meals. I followed few of her workout videos and Cindy Crawford's exercises.

Following are the few points which i followed during my Weight Loss journey :-

  1. Lemon Husk Water Remedy: In a warm water, add in 1 tablespoon of Psyllium Ispaghol Husk with 1 teaspoon of honey and lemon. This drink stimulate the digestive system, prevent skin wrinkles, improve oral health, keeps heart healthy, prevent diabetes and treats acidity.


  2. Kalonji | Nigella Sativa | Black Seeds Weight loss Remedy: Soak 1/2 cup of seeds into 5 tablespoons of Lemon juice and dry at room temperature. This might take a single day or night at room temperature. Once ready store it in a air tight container. Take a pinch of these seeds everyday while taking lemon husk water. According to Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A), "I have heard Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) saying that black granules (kalonji) is the remedy for all diseases except death".
  3. Leave White Flour(maida) & White Sugar,cut down all artificial sweets, White Flour Products, fried items, sugary items, pasta, etc. It's better to switch to Whole Wheat Bran breads, wheat pastas and fruits. Try to bake instead of frying. White Flour Products are the major source of Cancer and Diabetes.
  4. Cook rice once in a week: Never fill up your stomach with too much rice. Put on a lots of gravy over rice and enjoy.Never take dinner after 7 p.m. If you are hungry take fresh fruits or a glass of milk. Late night meals add to extra calories and will lead to weight gain.
  5. Use Oats, fresh fruits and vegetables.
    Increase the use of Yogurt in your meals.It works best for digestive aid and your skin.

                   
  6. Try to take 2 to 3 small meals in a whole day. Its better to keep taking snacks and fill up your stomach.Exercise thrice a week for about 30 minutes and walk daily after taking your dinner.
Take a short nap in afternoon after lunch (qailulah) and walk for sometime after dinner is sunnah e nabwi. 

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Take a nap,for the shayaateen do not take naps.”

Walk after dinner is also appreciated by the scientists. Prophet Muhammad never slept immediately after taking dinner. Because, this put much pressure on Pancreas to release more insulin to get out sugar from your blood, which is not good for your body and your health. 

Short mid day naps are also been encouraged by the researchers as it helps to reduce stress and heart disease risk has been reduced by 30 minutes of nap daily after your lunch (before or after Zuhr prayer).
