Shahi Mutton Dalcha Recipe

Chicken Manchurian Ingredients for Marination:


  • Ghee (2 Tsp)
  • Whole Spices (2 Tsp)
  • Chopped Onion (02)
  • Ginger Paste (1/2 Tsp)
  • Garlic Paste (1 Tsp)
  • Tomato Cubes ( 03)
  • Turmeric Powder (1/4 Tsp)
  • Red Chilli Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Salt (1 Tsp)
  • Chilli Flakes (1/2 Tsp)
  • Mutton Boneless (500 gm)
  • Bottle Gourd – Cubes (One)
  • Red Lentil (300 gm)
  • Water (500 ML)
  • Coriander Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Green Chilli (Four)
  • Cumin Seeds(1 Tsp)
  • Whole Spice Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Almonds (10-12) Boiled
  • Khoya (70 gm)
  • Milk (30 Ml)
  • Vegetable Oil (50 ML)
  • Garlic Paste (1 Tsp)
  • Dried Red Chilli (10-12)

Ingredients for Presentation:


  • Chopped Ginger, Coriander, Green Chilli
  • Crushed Almonds
  • Khoya

Directions for How to Make Dalcha:


1 Heat a clay pot, add ghee, whole spices, chopped onion and fry until light brown.


2 Add ginger paste, garlic paste, tomato, mix it well, add turmeric powder, red Chilli powder, salt, chilli flakes and mix it all very well.


3 Add boneless mutton and cook for 5 mins.


4Add bottle gourd cubes and cook for 2-3 mins.


5 Add red lentil and cook for 5 mins then add water.


6 Let it simmer for 30 mins.


7 Add coriander powder, green chilli, cumin seeds and cook it for 12-15 mins, then add whole spice powder and mix it well.


8 Add boiled almonds in a blender, add khoya and milk and blend it well then add into clay pot.


9 heat a pan, add vegetable oil, garlic paste and dried red chilli mix it well and fry until brown add pour over dalcha.


10 Garnish with chopped ginger, coriander, green chilli, crushed almonds and khoya. Serve it with naan / roti or with boiled rice.
