  • Thandai

First things first. Holi celebrations are absolutely incomplete without this aromatic and refreshing Holi special drink which is a mixture of dry fruits and fragrant spices. It comes different flavours such as Badam Thandai and Kesariya Thandai and is full of exotic dry fruits such as almonds and pistachios. The hint of saffron makes this drink very desirable.   • Colours

Oh yes! There has to be loads and tons of colours as Holi is also known as the festival of colours. Using traditional colours such as Gulaal is considered very auspicious during the festival.   • Incense sticks

Popcorn is offered as Prasada in this festival and has both traditional and religious significance in the celebration of this festival. They are also very easy to make and quick to serve. Make sure to stock a lot of packets of these beforehand for an easy and smooth going celebration.

  • Kachori

Kachori especially Moong daal kachori is a very popular fried snack that is relished during Holi. It is crispy on the outside and stuffed with a spicy mixture of lentils and spices. It is best eaten with chutney and can also be clubbed with aloo curry or even Matar curry. Kachoris are children's favourite too. They can simply grab a piece or two while they go off to play with colours. 

  • Samosa

     

Talking of Indian snack items, we cannot forget the samosas as they are the most famous Indian fried snack. The samosas are triangular in shape made out of refined flour and stuffed with a mixture of potato, peas, lentils and lots of spices. It is a perfect snack to serve to your guests during the Holi festival.

  • Dry fruit Samosa

Dry fruits samosas are yet another type of samosas which are stuffed with savoury and goodness of dry fruits. These are an excellent snack item for the Holi parties and get-togethers that you will be hosting during Holi. It is ready to eat a snack and can be also used as starters at the Holi dinners.

  • Dal Vada 

Dal Vada is prepared by fermenting lentils and is zingy and tangy in flavour. These vadas are a staple food item during the Holi celebrations and are capable of not only adding an item to your Holi meal spread but also something that you can serve to your guests.   • Dahi Vada
