Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane "Neromoro", Nicodemi

We said many times that the Montepulciano grape is a great grape and can produce outstanding wines and this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane Docg is an example.

Made with grapes from an old vineyard with a very low yield, and fermented in barrels, the wine is aged for about 18 months in new and used barrique and then bottled, unfiltered, and the aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.

This is a great red wine, complex, structured, elegant, with a nose with black fruit, liquorice. Rich and balanced with a long finish this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG is the perfect accompaniment of mature cheese, roasts and game.
