5. Jacob’s Creek Wines: It is one of the leading wine brands, having won more than 8000 awards. It wasn’t Jacob’s Creek back in the 1830s, William Jacobs settled on the banks of a creek. Little did he know, that one day this unnamed creek would be named after him. The first vines were planted in the year 1847 and the first wine was made in 1850.
