Brunch is a munching of food, basically a combination of breakfast and lunch. Brunch foods vary from people to people, depends on their tastes, lifestyle. Below are some Brunch foods recipes which can easily be prepared at home :

How to make PANCAKES at home within just 20 minutes 


Ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 to 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter 
Directions:
  1. Take a large bowl, mix flour with sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda. Add milk, melted butter and whisk eggs with all ingredients.
  2. Heat griddle; brush lightly with vegetable oil and scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the griddle. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and turn the other side and again cook for 2 minutes until it turns to golden color.
  3. Likewise, prepare more pancakes with remaining batter.
  4. Serve hot with syrup, strawberries, nuts.

How to cook Bruschetta at home



Ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 fresh basil leaves, thinly chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 5 medium tomatoes, thinly chopped
  • 5 medium green onions, thinly chopped
  • 3 olives, thinly chopped
  • 2 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 loaf french bread or Italian bread
Method to cook:
  1. Cut french bread into 24 pieces and broil 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Take a large bowl, mix all ingredients like basil leaves, garlic, tomatoes, green onions, olives, salt, pepper and make a mixture.
  3. Spread reduced fat cream cheese over the bread pieces.
  4. Broil 3 minutes or until cheese gets melted.
  5. Top with the mixture. Serve immediately.

How to prepare Baked Cheesy Broccoli at home


Ingredients are:
  • 1 kilogram of Broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions :
  • Boil broccoli in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven at 160 degree Celsius
  • Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt butter at low heat, add flour and salt and slowly add milk and whisking until thickened.
  • Pour this batter in the baking dish with broccoli and sprinkle cheese and bake it for 30 to 45 minutes. 
  • Serve this hot baked cheesy broccoli.

How to cook Burritos at home


Ingredients are:
  • Flour tortillas
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 1/2 cups canned black beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 8 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 4 tablespoons nonfat sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt to taste
Preparation :

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius. Wrap tortillas in foil and warm in the oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Take a non-stick skillet, put vegetable oil, chopped onion, minced garlic. When onion turns golden in color, add beans, tomatoes, red bell pepper, carrot, then add cumin, salt, chili powder and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Place warm tortilla on a plate. At the center of the tortillas, Fill 2 tablespoons cheese, 1 tablespoon sour cream and cilantro.
  4. Then add all veggies and roll up.
  5. Serve these mouthwatering burritos.
