Today I'll be sharing with you all a very simple and affordable dessert that you can prepare for your loved one in no time. I cant image celebrating Valentine's Day with you Chocolate and that doesn't mean you need to break your New Year Resolution for it to happen that is why I will be making this dessert with the healthiest chocolate option I could find. Not only is Hu Kitchen Chocolate absolutely delicious but their chocolate bars are good for you too! Now that we did the introduction to this amazing chocolate lets go ahead and start baking!
1/4 cup (60 grams) unsalted butter2 Salty Dark Chocolate bars1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered sugar1 large egg1 egg yolk1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract1/4 cup (32 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)2 oz heavy cream
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray two 6-ounce ramekins well with nonstick cooking spray and place on a baking sheet. Set aside.
Add the butter and HU Kitchen Chocolate to a large microwave safe bowl and microwave in 20-30 second increments, making sure to stir well after each increment, until melted and smooth. Remove from the microwave and whisk in the powdered sugar until well combined, then add in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix until fully combined.Add in the flour and mix until just combined, making sure not to over mix the batter. Evenly divide the batter between the two prepared ramekins.Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are firm and the center is slightly soft. Remove from the oven and allow to stand for 10 minute until the ramekins are cool to touch.Melt the remaining chocolate with heavy cream (microwave) and stir it until smooth glaze. Pour it over the finished molten lava cake!
