Last Day Of My Marketing Experiment

Whew, finally made it to the end! If today’s your first day here, you can check out this link to find out what’s been going on. There are 2 other posts from this week as well but I’ll let you decide if you want to look at them or not.

Overall, this is an experiment in marketing, survey taking, and sanity. Part one, will marketing in multiple places to multiple groups that are different based on original topic can work. Part two, will enough people participate in a survey, whether or not they think it could benefit them, if the numbers are high enough that you can reach? Three… what will my mental state be by Friday whether or not all of this works?

Actually, forget that last one. My mind is secure on my goals no matter which way this goes. If I don’t get enough people I’m still going to create products; making Money by creating your own items to sell can make you a lot of money if you can get to the right market or price point. It’s also residual and passive; residual because once you put it on the market, especially online, it’s always there and could always sell, and passive because you don’t have to be there to sell it.

That said, I thank any and every single person who’s seen this post or any of the others and participated. I’ll never be able to fully express my gratitude. With that said, let’s keep this shorter and tighter and get going.

Below are 9 categories. Under a couple of them I’ve broken the category down slightly further than the main category.

First, pick a topic; one choice per person. You can leave your request on the blog, or you can send me an email to mitch@imjustsharing.

Second, pick how you’d like the Training delivered to you. Some might make more sense for your needs than others.

The reward? The first idea that has five people select it and the way it’s delivered that equal each other, I’ll pick 1 person from that group to receive that training for free. If I get 20 people eventually under that same selection, I’ll give away 2 more free trainings.

A slight change for this blog. If there’s another financial category you’d like me to cover and I get 5 people to agree on it, as well as how you’d like it delivered, either I’ll do that one or get someone with more knowledge to do it. For instance, I’ve given a lot of tips on this blog on saving money in different ways, so that’s a subject I can cover. However, if you want to know more about using coupons I’d get someone like Lauren Greutman to do it with me since she’s more of the expert in that area (and whose book is over there at the top left).

If I don’t reach an agreed upon number, I’ll probably take the top 3 and run this again; if the topic isn’t financial then it probably won’t show up on this blog. Know this; even if I don’t reach a consensus on anything I’m still going to create those products and more.

These are the areas you have to select from (categories are underlined):

Personal Budgeting

Hospital Revenue Cycle

Medical Billing techniques
Understanding Charge Master
Understanding the Revenue Cycle

Diversity

Customer Service

How to provide good customer service
Training others to be good at customer service

Motivation

How to motivate yourself
Motivating Others

Leadership

Being A Better Leader
Training Others To Be Leaders

Blogging

Business blogging
blogging for money
blog writing
article writing for others

Social Media

benefits and dangers of social media
social media marketing tips
YouTube & video basics

Self Employment

Now, method of delivery:

Udemy course
Live seminar
Webinars
Email course
Podcasts
YouTube (this is new because it’s been requested on some of the other blogs as an option)
1 on 1 training (in person, Skype, Google Hangout, phone)
Book

Remember, only one per person. If you mention more than one, you have to tell me which one is first. You don’t even have to promise me you’ll buy; I just want to know which one you find the most important to you, and how you’d prefer it to be delivered.

I thank everyone in advance for participating and sharing this post, and I thank anyone who’s actually looked at all of the posts on this topic on this blog and any of my other blogs, which I mentioned if the first post of the series on Monday. I really appreciate all your help, and can’t express my gratitude as much as it deserves.
