Ethereum 2.0 Community Clears The Air About The Eth1 And Eth2 Issue

  • Ethereum 2.0 community has responded about the issuance of Eth1 and Eth2 new.
  • The Eth1 full node will then download all blocks on shard 0 and also maintain the updated Eth1 complete state.
  • Till now, there had not been a public multi-client Eth2 testnet, as stated by the CEO of Prismatic Labs.

The recent news from BlockBeats suggests that Ethereum 2.0 community has responded about the issuance of Eth1 and Eth2 new and old ETH, BETH Token in the past, ‘new chains’ in the Chinese communities. They have also cleared the air regarding the two-way bridge to achieve bilateral assets while transferring and other issues.

Recently, God V stated that the Eth1 chain and Eth2 chain would be issuing additional tokens. Eth2 is a PoS reward, and the PoW chain is a mining reward. Once these two chains are merged, ETH and BETH will emerge out as a kind of token. At the same time, V God also replied that now, he is more likely planning not to do a two-way bridge between the old chain and new chains. Instead of that, he plans to merge them directly as soon as possible.

According to the new proposal, which was released by God V recently about the merging of Eth1 and  Eth2, there are chances that Eth1 might exist as a slice 0 in Eth2. Adding on to it, as suggested by God V, Eth1 will then eventually adjusted to an execution environment in Eth2. However, there are chances that Eth1 can be an entire shard at first.

It advised all the validators who were interested in participating in the eth1 system to register themselves as eth1-friendly validators. In addition to this, they also required to maintain their beacon nodes. It also advised that they will have to keep an Eth1 full node. The Eth1 full node will then download all blocks on shard 0 and also maintain the updated Eth1 complete state.

As it had also come in the news earlier, the next major update regarding the Ethereum blockchain, Ethereum 2.0 Phase 0, was about it entering its final stage of testing with Parity’s Shasper joining a public multi-client testnest which referred to as “Sapphire.”

Till now, there had not been a public multi-client Eth2 testnet, as stated by the CEO of Prismatic Labs,  Mr. Preston van Loon. However, the team is escalating all its efforts, and users can most likely expect a Phase 0 mainnet launch in the first half of 2020.
