My latest obsession – Metallic Pleated Skirt.

What’s the number one item on my wish list at the moment? A Metallic Pleated Midi Skirt, of course!

I had been eyeing this skirt for months and so I finally grabbed it, because it’s such a gorgeous colour, it’s fun and feminine, the pleats and the metallic shine make it a statement skirt (but not TOO statement).

Today’s look is from  @FOREVER21. This sexy, yet festive look is perfect for the season, and is made perfect with my statement earrings, and shoes. This outfit of the day is dressy enough to wear to a semi-formal occasion.

Why they are so popular? Firstly, they look incredible, the metallic pleats shimmer and shine as you move making them such an eye-catching piece.

Secondly, they are such a versatile piece. They look just as good with sneakers and a tee as they do with a crop top and a pair of heels.  In fact that is one of the main reasons I love metallics in general, they make the ultimate street style piece and take a casual daytime look to the next level.
