Eve, Cardi B, Hailee Steinfeld and the Best Dressed at the 60th Grammys

For the first time in ages, the Grammys were held in New York City—here’s the best dressed of the night.

At the 60th Grammys tonight, attendees wore white roses. The roses were worn on lapels, as rings, on shoulders and, well, everywhere. Why the white roses? They’re a symbol of support for the #TimesUp and #Metoo movement.  Bruno Mars won 6 Grammys, Kendrick Lamar won 5, Chris Stapleton won 3 awards, Alessia Cara won a Grammy for Best New Artist, and The Rolling Stones won their third grammy. The complete list can be found here.

Read Who Owned the Grammys Red Carpet

The big trend of the evening was mommy. Camilla Cabello, SZA and other stars introduced their moms to Ryan Seacrest on the Red Carpet. Seacrest seem to hunt them down. Moms were glowing with happiness, very proud that their children had become nominees at the 60th Grammys. Let’s face it, moms are really the best accessory to have.

Let’s look at the best dressed of the night

Camilla Cabello

The ex-Fifth Harmony member wore a red Vivianne Westwood couture gown, Bulgari jewelry, and carried a disco ball minaudierie by Judith Leiber (I’m not sure why, but I suddenly need that). Talking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, she was re-united with Nick Jonas. She joked with him, that he had the adult version of the white rose. Her white roses were worn as a ring.

Janelle Monáe

Talk about having all eyes on you! Presenter Janelle Monáe wore a floral and butterfly matador inspired suit and Jennifer Fisher rings. Her step-by-step makeup can be found here.

Karen Fairchild

Singer Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, they won the Best Country Duo/Group Performance Grammy for their song, Big Man.  Fairchild wore a pale pink Monique Lhiuillier feathered gown.

Eve

Actress and singer Eve burned brighter than the lights of Broadway in a Naheem Khan beaded suit (oh to be tall!)

Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick channeled the early 90s with her lace bra and houndstooth plaid suit. She accessorized with pale pink Casadei heels and Ara Vartanian jewelry.

Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld, who was presenting tonight and is Anna Kendrick’s co-star in the Pitch Perfect 2 and 3 movies.  “Right now (my focus), she’s concentrating on music. When Seacrest asked her about both fields, she replied, “it goes back and for the between the two, I spend enough time with one, that makes me want to focus on the other. Right now, I’m very excited to be focusing on music.” Steinfeld was a presenter tonight. Her entire outfit, strapless white gown (which had pockets! YESS!) and purple slouchy boots are Alexandre Vauthier SS18.

Cardi B

Cardi B was as effervescent as champagne on the red carpet. When Guiliana Ranci asked her if she was nervous, she replied, “I am, yah, in my stomach and my vagina!” Then Ranic asked her what advice she would give to young women starting out in the business, Cardi stated, “Do it your way. Figure it out one way or another.”

Cardi was wearing her $500,000 dollar, 8 carat pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, Louboutin shoes and a white structured dress by Ashi.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora looked very glam in a black velvet gown by Ralph & Russo couture, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Louboutin shoes.

SZA

R& B singer SZA brought her mother and her grandmother to the Grammys. Nominated for Best New Artist, she lost out to Alessia Cara. She wore an ethereal, beaded and flowing gown.

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend revealed the sexy of their baby. It’s a boy! Teigen wore a silver sequined Yanina Couture dress. The couple looked radiant.
