I recently received* a pair of HandsOnGloves that are a dog owner and pet groomer’s best friend. After reading the information on them, I don’t know what exactly I expected to get, but these gloves look both serious and substantial. They are made of shiny black plastic with raised nodules that remove the excess hair while massaging your dog. They can also be used on cats, horses, well, any animal that sheds!

First, I need to establish that my dog is a Corgi. Corgis are very trendy right now. Disney’s latest film is about the Queen’s corgis. I’ve had my corgi for close to ten years. I love mischievous dogs and I admit I was intrigued by the Queen’s brood, but I am not the Queen. I’m more of a princess. The Queen didn’t warn me that corgis go zero days without shedding.  Unfortunately, I don’t have the Queen’s staff and I can use all the help I can get.

I immediately tried on my gloves which was very timely, as I simultaneously spotted a large wad of corgi hair lying on the floor. HandsonGloves fit well. As I mentioned earlier, they are made with shiny black plastic that has raised nodules on the palm side with a comfortable breathable fabric covering the rest of your hand.  The nodules are on both the fingers and the palms of your hand. They can be used on your pet either wet or dry. I can gently massage Marnie wearing these gloves. Massaging her gently distributes her natural oils and promotes a healthy coat. The dog that previously made a beeline for under the bed whenever she spotted a brush, just thinks that I am petting her. I’m happy. The dog’s happy. And everything isn’t covered with a layer of thick corgi hair. Totally satisfied and totally amazed.
