The fashion quotient at the Cannes Film Festival is always high. While the films are obviously the main event, the Red Carpet is quite often as sizzling. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone kept the cameramen busy with her different chic avatars on the red carpet and during the media interactions.
She looked beautiful and subtle in a red Johanna Ortiz floor length dress with a lot of ruffles going down like a sash on one side. Without too much accessorising, Deepika looks pretty sweet in the dress.
The Galvan London knee length dress she chose for the interview was another simple and elegant choice with a high bun adding to her height and teaming it up with Loboutins.
It was a sheer black Fall/Winter 2017 Marchesa gown in which she stepped onto the red carpet in Jimmy Choo footwear with a dark kohled eyes and a rich red lipper.
The Piku actor’s most talked about look during her Cannes trip is the deep green Brandon Maxwell gown with a long trail sweeping down from her shoulders. But honestly the styling could have been so much better. The jewels look out of place especially with the bold make up and simple styling that she carried off with oomph through the entire festival. The Saree inspired gown looks gorgeous and the look is otherwise spot on, especially the neat high bun that pulls the elegant look together.
Padukone looks rather sweet in the pink and the yellow dresses that she wore earlier in the day for the interviews. And I love those floral earrings with the yellow.
