Tonight, The Royal Opera House in London was graced by a rainbow of colours, an array of men in suits and LOTS of sparkle. A multitude of stars flocked to London to attend the annual awards, one of the biggest nights in theatre, and all were hoping to snatch an Award as recognition of their amazing achievements on stage.
From my point of view, the ladies stole the night with their empowering outfits that flattered their figures, however leading the men was definitely James Norton who wore a dashing black suit with a white shirt and a black blow tie to finish off his look. However he was shortly followed by recent oscar-winner Mark Rylance, who completed his ensemble with a cool pair of black shades.
Another attendee, Uzo Aduba, dazzled on the Red Carpet in a coral, one-shoulder, floor length Dress which she elegantly paired with a small black clutch that was the perfect accessory for the statement outfit. Ava West and Amber Riley also shone out to the cameras in their pieces. Ava’s midnight blue dress flattered her slim figure perfectly, which were nicely complemented by her dainty gold earrings. Glee star, Amber Riley almost stole the show in a black, mermaid style gown with silver beading detail. The dress showed off her curves elegantly and her understated makeup completed the look with just the right amount of glamour.
However, for me, the two women who blew the other competition away were Emma Williams and Gemma Arteton. Emma stood out in a tight fitting silver silk dress with ruffles and a sight train towards the bottom of the dress. Meanwhile 30-year-old actress, Gemma, dazzled in a luxurious purple sequinned gown with billowing sleeves that barely needed accessories to steal the show on the red carpet.
