DMP Abuja

So it was my first time at the DMP event. Not that i hadn't heard about them but i never got the time to attend the event. I was either out of town or had something else taking up my time. I finally found free time to attend and kill my curiosity.

DMP aka Designers Market place is a function for upcoming designers, caterers and business sectors to exhibit their products and crafts and basically network with customers and other sellers. It happens every first Saturday of the month. At first when i was told about the event, i thought "oh good! a place where they retail designer pieces not just international based but home based brands on sale. Well, I went there and it was different from my thoughts of course. There were vendors retailing lots of fabulous pieces but Nothing i haven't seen before. So, it was like a repetition of items i had seen in the market but brought to a fair.

I really liked her sunnies and tried getting one for myself but they were sold out. She was delighted to let me take a picture of her

She and her team where also pleased to take pictures. We chatted a bit about the previously held Abuja fashion week... And the guys where stylists at the event

Lovely brooches

Very lovely teeny tiny pendant necklace. I got some for myself and my girlfriends

Accessory heaven

Very inspiring words.

A cross section of the shoppers

"All the Makeup you can eat". This makeup stand in my opinion was the fastest selling stall in the entire event. So many girls surrounded the table, I also couldn't help snatching a few makeup products myself. They did well to come with their POS machines, which was very necessary at the spur of the moment. They were really there for business.

Me ,not a stitch of makeup in some stylish shades. The very lovely lady named Emem recommended this for me cause she said bloggers are entertainers and we know how to make things look good. (if only she knew how much of a minimalist i was) Lol.

while trying on shades, she decided to photobomb... Good job! + she's darling..

A few items i purchased from the event, I will be putting up a review about them in a future post so stick around.

Overall, the Dmp Event is a good place to hang, market products to customers and network so i will be giving this another try cause personally for me, it wasn't as exciting as i had looked forward to. It might be because of the frequency of the event, too conventional much?..That's just my personal opinion.

Have you guys attended the DMP event before? Share your experiences in the comment section.

I love you for reading as always.

Stay amazing
