A woman of almost regal beauty, she’s been delighting audiences with her stage performances since she was in high school. For a long time she didn’t really take her movie career very seriously, preferring instead to stick with the theater. Streep’s focus changed after she saw Taxi Driver & was amazed by De Niro’s acting prowess. Much like many of the women I honor on Mondays, Meryl is a philanthropist as she champions numerous charities & causes (far too many to go into any real detail). There are so many things to admire about this amazing woman.

Throughout her many appearances, aside from performances, I have noticed that she seems particularly fond of embellished hoops & bold necklaces.
