Getting Ready for Weddings in Winter Season

It’s shaadi season, folks! And incidentally, also the most amazing weather for weddings. Winter weddings are great because of the cool climate and those amazing evening lawn parties but winter also brings chapped lips and dry skin. How do you ensure that you are at your glowing, shiny best on one of the most important days of your life? Fret not, we bring some handy tips to take care your skin and hair.

Skin Care

Make time for yourself and indulge in the face treatments, like facials, bleach etc, at least a week prior to the ceremony to give your skin time to work. Don’t keep everything for the last minute. Moreover, as its winter now, the face has a tendency to look darker and duller. So keep it hydrated.

Use a lip balm each time you feel your lips are dry. Do not lick or bite your lips. This will dry the lips and cause them to become chapped and flaky.

If you have the ceremonies during the day, then keep the makeup minimal and opt for a more natural look. If you are going for a night time wedding, keep the makeup heavy and add more colours. If you have a morning wedding, choose pastel shades for the eye makeup.

Hair Care

Knowing everything about your hair is the first thing you need to keep in mind while getting a right hairstyle for that big day. Do not choose the style randomly just because your favourite actress wore the same hair style in her latest movie. Know the length and texture of your hair to avoid blunders for the day.

You should always speak to the stylist about the hairstyle that would complement your facial structure and can give it a try before the actual day. He is a professional and can help you to achieve the desired look.

It is good to get a haircut before the marriage ceremony as it will allow your hair to settle by the wedding day. But be sure to do this at least two weeks before.

Being simple is the key for the perfect hairstyle for the wedding. Go with the accessories that complement your dress. In case you plan on using fresh flowers, then make sure they stay fresh.
