All the holiday parties can be overwhelming and leave you exhausted. But with this tutorial, at least your Hair will be looking fabulous – because it’s inspired by Ariana Grande, and she’s fabulous. It’s a great go-to style that’s easy to achieve, but still fancy enough for all your holiday parties. With tons of voluminous curls, this Ariana Grande inspired hairdo looks great on everyone.

What You’ll Need:

– A curling wand (we use the NuMe Titan 3 Set)
– Hairspray (we use Redken 28)
– Bobby pins
– Hairties

Step 1 – Prep your hair.

Prep your hair by applying a protectant or nourishing oil. This will make a significant difference when using heat tools in your hair. Because we will be using heat all over the hair, be sure to spread the product evenly. We’re using NuMe’s Argon Oil, which makes the hair silky and smooth.

Step 2 – Split hair into workable sections.

Because we want to achieve lots of volume through lots of curls, you’ll need to split your hair into smaller sections to get the most curls.

Step 3 – Curl hair in small sections.

Using a medium sized wand, curl small sections away from the face. The smaller sections, the more curls, and the more volume!

Step 4 – Hairspray each section as you finish them.

Hairspray each section as you finish them to ensure they stay very curly, all through your night of partying!

Step 5 – Split hair into more sections and repeat.

 

Step 6 – Section off bangs.

Section off a front section of your head, and split it to the side. Hold it together with a hairtie and leave it to the side for now.

Step 7 – Section off top section of hair.

Section off the top half of your hair, from the ear and upwards. Create a high ponytail and secure.

Step 8 – Pin bang section behind ear.

Comb back the section you previously set aside, add some hairspray to tame flyaways and baby hairs, and pin behind your ear.

Step 9 – Tease ponytail for max volume.

Ariana Grande uses hair extensions for all her volume in her ponytail, but we decided to keep it a bit more natural, and just opt for some teasing!

Step 10 – Finger-comb and tease.

Finger-comb your curls and gently tease for added volume. YAS GURL.
