At every age, you have different values, needs, and interests. There are so many places in this world that we can successfully tailor the best places to live at each life stage!
Places to Live for Children
Quebec City is the French Speaking capital of Canada’s French speaking province. Full of museums, performing arts centres, and old world charm, Quebec ranks super high in cultural factor. It also has the best childcare funding and extremely low child-injury hospitalization rates. Meaning it’s a super safe place to live.
Also, as an extra tidbit, despite the whole nation being “bilingual,” in reality, only those raised in Quebec can really speak French fluently. So a child growing up in Quebec will be able to speak French and English. Plus, Canada was recently ranked to most educated country in the world. These kids are way posh.
Let us bask in the fact that Children here are never nagged to put on an extra jacket or scarf. The tropical weather and beautiful land means children are more inclined to spend their days outside. There are also a lot of fun kid-friendly activities for children to enjoy. Besides beaches, there’s also a zoo, an aquarium, and a bajillion other things to keep children happy and entertained.
It’s also the most ethnically diverse state in America. Hawaii isn’t only the best adult vacation spot, but one of the funnest places to live for kids!
Places to Live for Young Adults
Toronto is ranked the most youthful city in the world. It has a million diverse little neighbourhoods and blocks dispersed throughout, each with its own charm and characteristics. The city is also dotted with a plethora of new, niche, and unique restaurants, calling foodies from all over and converting many more to the food scene. Toronto is also the media capital of Canada, meaning festivals, events, exhibits, as well as many new start-ups and potential interesting job opportunities. Nightlife, music, and culture, Toronto has it all. For the young, adventurous, and inquisitive minds, this is the best place to live and explore.
Seoul has a bustling nightlife, not only for those that drink and party though. They have so many little themed coffee shops or dessert houses, karaoke bars (with bubble tea), and so many city lights. Not to mention, the apartments there are so much more high tech. New buildings have remotes to call elevators (read: no more waiting), camera doorbell intercoms, as well as amazing delivery service. And you just put your plates outside your door when you’re done, and the delivery people come to pick it up. What an easy life, am I right?
The citizens here also love their celebrities; it’s almost a fun cult following. Talk about culture. AND for all you environmentalists out there, it’s ranked first in environmental sustainability!
Places to Live for Golden Years
Retiring in the south of France — isn’t that the dream place to live? Languedoc is considered one of the best places to live for seniors due to its irresistible old world charm, slow-paced and easy way of life, and um can someone say wine country? Spain (and the rest of Europe) is also just a short distance away, making day trips and excursions totally possible. What better way to spend your golden years than travelling and taking in the wide cultural diversity that is Europe?
This may be surprising to you, but Panama has a lot of foreign retirees. The cost of living is very low, meaning the retiree budget can stretch a lot. Coronado in particular is a beachfront town, meaning a relaxing and sunny everyday vibe. Also, the Panama government gives amazing benefits to retirees with approved pensions, such as discounts off entertainment, transportation, airline tickets, restaurants, and medical expenses! It’s the epitome of affordable luxury.
And that’s the list! Now you’re set for life!
