Howdy, my loves!
Of late, I’ve been thinking way too much about the importance of Wellness in our lives. I truly believe that all’s well that ends well, but when it comes to health, there’s a slight difference…All’s actually well if it begins well. There, got me?
WELLNESS isn’t just limited to the food you eat, the lifestyle you Follow or the workout you do. It is a comprehensive routine which focuses both on your mental and spiritual well-being. You see, while health is a state of body; wellness is a state of being.
Wait up! Before going too preachy, let me just get straight to the point. Here I’ve outlined a roadmap of Wellness for you all. Because, fitness is the best fashion, people! And one, which doesn’t really cost much…tehee!
Walk/Work It Out
Time and again, I have focused on the importance of physical activities in our life. YES! It is the first and most important step towards climbing the ladder of wellness. It need not be a rigorous exercise, but it better be regular.
To begin, you can walk barefoot on the grass every morning. It’s the best thing to kick-start your day on a positive note. Besides walking, there are umpteen other activities for fitness. Try Yoga or meditation. Pilates/Zumba/Swimming also make for great ways of workout. Just remember, whichever style you opt for, be regular in it and follow religiously to experience noticeable results.
Breakfast, we all know, is the most important meal of the day, that one shouldn’t skip. It fuels you up for the entire day and helps you fare better.
You can dig in some Wellness Breakfast options I shared once, or you can also give a shot to Oriflame Wellness Health Set, the yummy Nutrishake and Omega 3 for optimum nutrition, and to keep your energy levels steady throughout the day.
Besides, do include lots of fresh fruits and veggies in your diet everyday. The more colourful, the better! And finally, replace the grain-based complex carbs like parantha with sauteed spinach , roasted cauliflower, or stir fried peppers and onions.
H2O, Anywhere, Anytime!
“Don’t drink too much water.”
– Said no one, EVER!
A perfect way to flush out toxins, improve skin texture, relieve fatigue, treat headache, aid weight loss and what not. So basically, drink as much water as you can. Safe side, follow the rule…eight glasses of water every day.
Nothing can recharge you better than good 8-10 hours of sleep. And I, for one, just love sleeping!
Besides, it’s such a nice booster, keeps you at peace, controlling your anger and stress. So, times when you’re totally restless, spare some time for those blissful hours of sleep.
That was that! Stay cheerful, embrace wellness with all your might, and do share your experiences here!
