It’s always funny to me when people who have made some VERY questionable parenting decisions judge what other parents do. Farrah Abraham, former Teen Mom star and current adult film actress, attended the first weekend of the super popular Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

She brought along 9-year-old daughter Sophia, and they seemed to enjoy some mother-daughter bonding time at the resort where they stayed. But apparently, Sophia didn’t tag along with Farrah to take part in the live music and excitement of the festival. She stayed behind with a nanny, while Farrah hit the Empire Polo Club grounds.

So why didn’t Farrah bring Sophia to the festival? Turns out, she has some really interesting ideas about what is and isn’t appropriate for children.

Farrah slammed parents who bring their kids to the music festival, saying she doesn’t believe it’s safe for children to attend. Now, I’ve been to Coachella once or twice in my day. And I have to say, I see nothing wrong with Parents Bringing their kids.

The grounds are huge, there’s lots to do, and security is tight. Considering some of the things Farrah DOES find acceptable to expose her daughter to, this hard-line stance about Coachella is a little surprising.

There is no right or wrong way to parent, but Farrah Abraham seems to have some pretty backwards standards.
