I don’t even know what to say about this one. A gym teacher in Los Angeles, Ca. was taken into custody after he stripped naked and chased a bunch of students around the playground. The teacher, who remains unidentified, was supposed to be helping the kids with physical education. Instead, officials say, he took off all his clothes and proceeded to run around, chasing students at Carthay Center Elementary School. The students were in the 2nd and 5th grades. They were able to dodge the naked man, and run for safety into nearby classrooms.

A nearby construction worker captured a video of the bizarre and disturbing event. The naked man is shown putting his pants back on before being confronted by school officials. Clearly, this is a disturbed individual! I can’t even imagine what would prompt an educator to remove their clothes and physically chase young children around a playground. Officials with the Los Angeles Unified School District say the man was a contracted employee. He works (or worked, I imagine) for the district’s Star Education Program. He also taught in the after-school enrichment program. Here’s hoping a thorough investigation of both programs is completed after this.
