Did you do a Gender Reveal video, or party, or celebration of any kind? Did it go how you planned?
I have four kids and I found out the sex for numbers 2 and 4 and I didn’t find out the sex for my first and third child, but even so I never did any sort of ‘gender Reveal.’ Don’t get me wrong, my youngest is now 10, so I don’t think Gender reveal parties were even a thing a decade ago, but I still don’t think I’d do anything too fancy.
At that time I literally just posted to my Facebook wall ‘it’s a boy’ and ‘it’s another boy’ to let people know what we were having, but these days people go all out for fun gender reveals.
I’ve seen some pretty clever and creative gender reveals over the years, but it’s always fun when things don’t necessarily go as planned.
When Erik and Malinda were expecting their 11th (yes, that says 11th!!) child, they decided to they would try to do something fun to incorporate their other 10 children in to the gender reveal.
Not knowing if the couple would be welcoming boy #8 or girl #4 they decided to film a fun gender reveal, only as we can all imagine, life with 10 kids doesn’t always go as planned!
