Omu resort Lagos: All you need to know and do

Omu Resort is a lovely resort with a lot of side attractions located at Bogije , Lagos. This was the longest trip I have ever had on vacation within Lagos state as Bogije is close to the outskirt. Moreover, I had a terrible experience the first time I planned to visit. Ever since, I always wonder how I survived the accident that occurred on my way to Omu Resort without a scar. Thank God.

Finally, on Sallah day, I followed a tour company –My hangout buddy to Omu resort. I always love to go on vacation with this brand because it is always fun plus you get to meet new people and network. I also went on two other vacation with this brand- Tarkwa bay beach and Eleko beach. You can read my post on fun things to do at Eleko beach.

As a brand, My hangout buddy seeks to provide the best experience and vacations to their customers so an opinion poll was shared to decide our next hangout. So, that is how I got another opportunity to visit Omu resort after my failed attempt. The rain almost ruined my vacation to Omu resort but thankfully the weather cleared before noon. Since it was a festive  day, the resort was full such that we had to wait our turns to have access most fun equipment in the resort.

Omu resort Lagos: Location and Entry fees

Omu resort is located at 1 Asiwaju Bola tinubu way, Bogije, Ibeju Lekki. All tourist are received in a reception area where you choose the activities and make payment. The entry is fee is 3000 naira to have access to all their fun equipment except a selected few like the quad bike, slam dunk, pirate ship, Space ship, mission impossible,  paint balling,  archery etc for an extra fee.

Fun things to do

There are so many fun activities to take part in at Omu resort, some are free and others are paid. I had a blast with my hangout buddy brand, the foods, snacks and the networking was worth it. So, if you planning to visit omu resort, you can choose any fun activity to partake in.

Picnic and games

Omu resort is one the best places to have a family hangout or picnic with friends. They provide huts or tents where you can stay together to have fun. Also, you can go with your own games like scrabble, cards, chess , ayo etc to entertain you and your family. However, if you need more engaging games, they offers entertaining games led by their staffs. I really enjoyed their game activities especially tug of war and the dancing, which was some sort of exercise for me. And of course, these games is also perfect team bonding because we had to learn to work together as strangers on my hangout.

Fun Free Recreational facilities

Omu resort provides some lovely free to access recreational fun equipment for both adult and children. There are an assortment of fun activities to partake in like swings, mini pool for children, mini golf course, mini zoo, aquarium, mission impossible , etc. The amusement facilities  I would not recommend is the pirate ship. OMG!, I almost lost it, it is not fun at all. But a visit to the zoo is perfect .The zoo has few wild animals like lions, snakes, and some domestic animals too.

Paid Recreational facilities

If you don’t mind spending additional money to explore omu resort, you can opt for paid access to their facilities. Such activities include horse riding (500 naira), riding quad bike (1000naira), kayaking  (500naira), paint balling etc. Personally, I  love the riding quad bikes, it was so much. It gave a me a boost of confidence as soon as I could work it. Although, I rode terribly at first because I don’t know how to drive a bike or car. So, I will recommend you try it out. However, I will also recommend you try the kayaking but I am hydrophobic so, I couldn’t do it.
