Dressy casual is the way to go when you’re in a rut and are not sure if you should go casual or all dressed up.

Ever find a Skirt that you absolutely love but could never style it the right way? That was me with this beautiful white A-line skirt. I’ve tried pairing it with few of my favorite tops but none of them quite did it for me. Something always seemed to be amiss.

Then I decided to go the boring route and pair it with a simple grey top. And voila!! It was just what I was looking for. This just shows that simple is sometimes the best choice. I love how the entire outfit turned out.

I’ve had this grey top for quite some time now and never once did I think about wearing it with this skirt. I think the top goes very well with the skirt because the sleeves of the top have a bit of lace and that works well at balancing out the lace on the skirt.

I threw on my dearly beloved denim jacket to put the Casual in Dressy Casual. I chose to drape it over my shoulders instead of wearing it because I thought that gave the whole outfit a little something extra.

I chose to wear some studded nude block heels. And for accessories, I stacked my watch with my favorite rose gold leaf bracelet. And chose a tan crossbody bag to complete the look.
