Yellow is such a bright colour and gives off a very bubbly vibe. I mean even the sun is Yellow right ?! I probably wouldn’t buy anything coloured yellow without giving it a lot of thought. If you’re with me, raise your hands !

Even though she’s a cheerful colour, most of us would rather invest in a one nation coloured piece. This means a solid coloured piece you can pair with a lot of things without so much thought. 

I usually lean towards the neutrals and solids especially black and navy. However I saw this Skirt and I loved it, and for some strange reason I didn’t mind it was in yellow.

The asymmetric detail and ripped edges of the skirt was the deal breaker for me. I paired this beauty with this navy blue cami top, black block heels, beaded clutch, statement neck piece and accessories.

White is an obvious pair with yellow, and this is why. I love how she paired the yellow skirt with a white round neck top and black sandals.  I really like the subtle sexy vibe this outfit gives. The nude accessories paired with the yellow dress is perfect !  This outfit legit gave me goosebumps. I love how the fuchsia pink blazer makes the look glam with the white shirt and yellow skirt. 

I hope that with these few points of mine, I’ve been able to convince you and not confuse you that a Yellow Skirt is not such a bad buy ! *drops mic*
