A new set of stunning aircraft take flight as Gulfstreamannounced two new airplanes coming off the line. The Business Class Jets, called the Gulfstream G500 and the Gulfstream G600, joining the likes of the G120, G280, G450, G550, and G650 in the Gulfstream lineup of incredible aircraft.

               The two new members of the Gulfstream legacy improve on minor details that make them a little faster, a little more comfortable, and a little more appealing than their still very impressive counterparts. The G500 and G600both feature wider cabins for easier maneuverability for passengers and crew and to maximize seat space and comfort; they also have a maximum speed of Mach .9, which is matched by the Gulfstream Jets G650 and G650ER. What sets the two latest models apart is their enhanced cockpit technologies including touchscreens and active control sidesticks which allow the pilot and copilot a better understanding of what the other is doing with the controls. This feature maximizes the safety of the plane and assists the pilots when flying long distances.

               Gulfstream is known around the world for their impressive aircraft and their ability to get people, whether private parties, businesses or others, to their destination with ease, comfortand class.                The ability of Gulfstream aircraft to adapt to the needs of those who are using it the most is incredible; the G500and G600 are customizable depending on the needs of the owner and crew, with the G500 coming standard with three living spaces and optimal crew space and the G600 with the ability to have up to four living spaces with a separate area for crew members to rest and relax.                Fuel efficiency is also high on Gulfstream’s priority list- these new jets use less fuel and go further, giving them the ability to maximize the jets’ range while still being able to afford fuel. Both new aircraft are more fuel efficient than any other Gulfstream jet to date and the enhancements to the wing design and cockpit technology have only improved this.

The G500 won’t be delivered to buyers until 2018 as testing is set to begin in 2015. The G600 is estimated to come a little after the G500 by a year or a year and a half. The price hasn’t yet been set, but other Gulfstream jets clock in at a cool $65 million. Start saving your pennies!
