- The blood is first drawn from the person’s arm, which is to be used on their face.
- Your extracted blood goes through a centrifugal process (5 to 10 minutes) in which platelets are separated.
- The areas of the face that require treatment are marked on the face using a temporary pencil.
- An anesthetic cream is applied on the face.
- The separated platelets are then injected into the superficial layer of your face using acupuncture techniques.
The technique does not involve major injections and thus is deemed to be almost painless by some of the candidates. Though sensitive areas like under eyes and lip linings may have issues due to abundance of nerve endings.
