Promaster Diver

Divers Watches have always been amongst the most popular category of watches that men love to own, its up there with aviation watches and motorsport / rally watches. Citizen has a whole range of stunning diving watches to suite all styles and tastes including models such as the BN0190-07E, BN0151-09L and even the outstanding BN7020-17E. Citizen have decided that they wanted to release a new model for 2017 which they have named the ‘PROMASTER DIVER‘ – BN0191-55L.

It has a bold blue bezel and dial with a polished shiny finish which give the watches face a stunning gradient with hints towards the big blue sea. This watch also has Citizens infamous Eco-Drive Technology meaning it is powered by light and never needs a battery just like most of Citizens models nowadays.

The Promaster Diver watch is also good to note that as this watch never needs a battery you will never need to open the case back and compromise your watches water resistance ever again making this watch a worthwhile addition to and divers equipment.  The watch is water resistant to 200 metres which is perfect for any dive you are ever going to make.

Water resistance can be a confusing topic for many watch owners or potential watch owners reading up about their dream, watches water resistance ratings such as 3ATM or 5ATM can be a little misleading for those who haven’t heard of it before. 3ATM stands for 30 metres water resistancy but here’s where you need to be careful. Just because a watch is 3ATM (30 metres) water resistant doesn’t mean that you can swim with the watch, shower with the watch or even wash the dishes with it on. 3ATM (30 metres) is suitable for everyday use meaning that it is “Splash/rain resistant” and not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkeling, water related work, fishing, and diving.
