Ladies and Gentlemen!

This week in Australia, September 7 – 11, is Love Your Body Week!

It is a campaign run by The Butterfly Foundation and Sportsgirl to promote body confidence and eating disorder awareness.

Of course we should be celebrating this every week, but now is a great time to share EXTRA love!

It is so important that we Continue to acknowledge that there is no one size fits all, there is no perfect body type and we are ALL worth so much more than we could ever imagine. It is important to believe this yourself, and to share it with those around you.

Embrace all your unique and beautiful flaws and know you are so much more than a size or a number.

As mentioned in the video above, my Challenge for you this week is to stop all negative self talk. Catch yourself if you say anything negative and focus on one reason it may actually be a positive! Recruit your friends for the challenge and call each other out – if you hear any negativity, turn it around and describe something positive about them instead (they will do the same for you!).

Try this for one week, if you’re game! Ideally you will continue this for the rest of your life, do not pass go or collect $200. But let’s start with small steps for now…
