Yoga Alliance, partnered with Yoga Journal and the Ipsos Public Affairs research firm, has been releasing reports with information about yoga every four years. The first report was released in 2008 and the most recent report was just released in 2016. The following statistics have been taken from the 2016 report.

1. 36 million Americans have practiced yoga at some point in their life.

2.  80 million Americans say they are somewhat or very likely to Practice Yoga in the next 12 months.
