Gorakhpur will get development works worth more than 2.5 billion rupees this month. If the House building in the Municipal Corporation premises will be dedicated to the public, then electric buses will ply the streets of the city. The works worth Rs 24 crore of councilor’s preference will also be given speed.
Officials took stock of the preparations by meeting

After making most parts of the city free of water-logging, the municipal administration has started development works. The development works related to the Municipal Corporation are also being continuously reviewed. Municipal Commissioner Avinash Singh reviewed the development works after meeting with Additional Municipal Commissioner R B Singh, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Shukla, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Dr. Mani bhushan Tiwari, Avinash Pratap Singh etc.

Uniform of employees being bought from 12 lakhs

The process of buying uniforms for the employees of the Municipal Corporation has intensified. The municipal administration will spend Rs 12 lakh 10 thousand on the uniform. Along with this, 50 lakhs will be spent on path lighting, 18 lakhs on hand carts and 25 lakhs on big dustbins on the preference of councillors. 75 lakh CC road and divider will be constructed in the Municipal Corporation Premises. An ornamental light will also be installed on this divider.

Construction of drain from Maha deva puram to Ramgarhtal – 8.14 crore
