December Barbella Box Review: The EmBox

When I saw the spoilers for the December Barbella Box, I made sure my size was up to date. Why? Because not only was the box curated by Emily Schromm, but the spoilers also indicated a sweet purple Born Primitive hoodie. I received mine right before Christmas, so thank you, Barbella Box, for providing me with the perfect hoodie for a busy season! The rest of the box was pretty awesome, too.

Born Primitive Alter Ego Hoodie: I don’t have enough words to say how much I love this hoodie. It’s a deep eggplant purple with a cutout in the back. It’s soft, comfortable, and includes thumbholes in the cuffs. But what I really love is the size-sleeve zipper, which instantly elevates it to a perfect athleisure piece. I’ve worn the Alter Ego hoodie a bunch of times with leggings as everyday wear.

Evolved Motion Micro Pouch: The micro pouch included in the December Barbella Box is for use with the EmPack or to keep a few essentials handy. I haven’t used mine, but I can see it being very useful for travel to corral some of the odds and ends I bring on trips.

Tune It Up Fitness Coregeous Ball: I had never heard of this thing. The Coregeous Ball is a mobility tool that not only helps with digestion but also helps with your psoas. It’s kind of strange; you lay on it with your bare stomach, and you can feel yourself being a little stretchier as you sink into it.

Herbal Element Tummy Tonic Tea: I haven’t tried this tea yet. Shockingly, the holidays were not a time of digestion difficulty. Emily Schromm had a hand in creating this tea that includes peppermint and ginger.

Plant Apothecary Get Happy Travel-Sized Body Wash: To be honest, I used this right away. I didn’t need to wait for a trip. The body wash is infused with geranium and peppermint essential oils, and the smell really did perk me up in the morning.

21 Days with Em 21 Day Plan: I signed up for this online program that began January 2 just to test it out. It’s actually pretty neat: Emily Schromm created a program that includes meal plans, workouts, and information on things like gut health and macros. I’m glad it came with the December Barbella Box because it seems worthwhile.
