It took me until October to test out most of the items in my September Fit Snack Box. Even then, a few things remain unopened. I had a crazy September, starting with Hurricane Harvey, a work trip to Cleveland, and the beginning of half marathon training for the Route 66 Half Marathon in Tulsa on November 19. And, of course, life happened. I still have to work, take care of my family, and be the mom taxi. I think that’s one of the reasons I love the Fit Snack box: I get delicious snacks delivered to me every month, without fail.
I received a complimentary September Fit Snack box in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own, and I received no other compensation. This post may contain affiliate links.
Don’t you just love the FTC disclaimers? They really break up the flow of a post. Anyway, on to the September Fit Snack box:
Purely Inspired Protein: I always enjoy protein powder packets for on the go. This is no different. The Purely Inspired Organic Protein Powders pack 20 g of protein, 7 g of fiber, and only 2 g of sugar into every serving. And it tastes great. It’s plant-based and ideal for vegans.
Kala Beautiful Beans: I was so happy to get these in my September Fit Snack box! The sea salt and vinegar crunch flavor satisfies my need for something crunchy and salty, without all the fat and empty calories of chips.
Trophy Nut Peanuts: The September Fit Snack box included these peanuts in Buffalo Blast. True to the name, the peanuts were spicy, almost too spicy, but I’m also a lightweight on spices. (That sounds funny coming from a Californian turned Texan, right?)
Pasta Chips: I will happily eat pasta chips, particularly those with a light garlic and olive oil flavor. These provided a nice savory crunch that I could feel somewhat good about eating.
Salad Power Juice: The coolest thing about this juice is that I can grab it and go. The Salad Power line has less sugar than other vegetable juices, and it’s so convenient when I need a vegetable snack but can’t carry actual veggies with me.
Leap Instant Smoothies: The September Fit Snack box included the green variety of these smoothie mixes. More importantly, it came with instructions on how to make a smoothie bowl, and I don’t even need a blender for this. I might be able to up my Instagram game now.
September Fit Snack Box Bonuses
Amsety Bars: Y’all, I’m still not sold on these bars that are meant to support liver health. This time, I received the dark chocolate flavor, and it just tasted a little flat. If you’re concerned about liver health, these are the bars to snack on, but other than that I’m not overly excited.
Ally’s Bar: I received the Apple Carrot Ginger flavor of these sweet potato bars, and I wasn’t really a fan of them. If you like a strong ginger flavor, these are right for you. I’m not a fan of ginger (probably because it did nothing to help with morning sickness during pregnancy, and therefore I associate the taste with unrelenting nausea), but I know a lot of people like it. It’s a sweet-spiced kind of flavor.
Creation Nation Energy Bar Mix: More goodies for my vegan friends! I’ve got to say, I’m pretty excited about this. I’ve held off on making them because I kind of want to bring energy bars or balls to the Savage Race I’m doing this month with all the awesome people from my gym. This was a cool item to find in my box last month.
